Kicked off the TWGL season opener on an unseasonably warm (80!) March day. Cart path only, unfortunately (I think the 90-degree rule would have been sufficient to protect the course). It was, shall we say, an exploratory round. Course was in mediocre shape - some bunkers were bare, others had plenty of sand. Greens were fast. No birdies. Not many pars either, come to think of it. On the simple little par 3, #16 we all four-putted our way to a triple bogey. In mitigation, let it be said that any putt pausing on the downhill side of the hole simply rolled eight feet away, including uphill putts.
